You can return the completed application to your local voter registration office either by mail
or fax. To locate your local registrar’s office, go here. |
| What is the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot? |
To receive a ballot by mail, the application must be received by the Tuesday before Election Day: February 5 for the Primary Election October28 for the General Election An in-person application may be completed in the office of the general registrar, and the applicant must sign the application in the presence of a registrar or the secretary of the electoral board. The application must be made more than three days prior to Election Day. |

Follow the instructions on your ballot, sign, and return to the County Auditor.
An addressed return envelope is provided with your absentee ballot. |
| What are the deadlines for voting absentee? |
Voted ballots must be received by 7:00 pm on Election Day: Primary Election: February 12 General Election: November 4 |
| What are the election dates and deadlines for 2008? |
Primary Election: Febraury 12 General Election: November 4 By-mail voter registration must be received 29 days prior to Election Day. |
