Send a written request to your county board of elections that includes your name, residence address,
date of birth, signature and mailing address; or you can call your elections official to request an
application. |

| What is the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot? |
Requests must be received on later than the Tuesday prior to Election Day. You can begin making
requests 50 days prior to Election Day. Primary: April 29. General: October 28. |
| What are the deadlines for voting absentee? |
The ballot must be received in the County Board of Elections Office by 5:00 pm on the day before
Election Day: May 5 for the Primary Election November 3 for the General Election |
| What are the election dates and deadlines for 2008? |
Primary Election: May 6 General Election: November 4 By-mail voter registration must be postmarked by 25 days prior to Election Day for the voter to be eligible for that election. |
